Washington Blames Russia and Iran for the Chemical Attack Saying: Al-Asad Never Launches a Chemical Attack Without Support of his Two Allies
SMA News – Agencies The White House indicated that Syria, accused of launching a chemical attack on Doma, is unable to launch such attacks without help from Russia and Iran. Sara Sanders, spokeswoman of president Trump, said: “The president asserted that Russia and Iran are responsible for such acts as it can never happen without their material help”. She added that Doma attack is consistent with al-Asad’s pattern of using chemical weapons. Previously, US president Donald Trump announced that he is discussing with military commanders for a response to Doma chemical attack during hours, indicating that Putin might be responsible for the attack. Trump said that he will take “serious decisions” in a couple of days in response the the assumed chemical attack on Eastern Ghouta, warning that “Syria will pay a heavy price” for that attack. Trump resented what he described as “a horrible attack against innocent Syrians in Doma” at the beginning of the US government meeting in the White House.
