SMA News – Al-Makla – Exclusive

During the upcoming days, the second round of the southern national assembly will be held in Al-Makla, capital of Hadhramaut. The southern national assembly headed by general Ahmed Said Ben Brik, finished all arrangements and preparations for holding the second round in Al-Makla as this round will see final touches of the desired southern state.
In this respect, Nasser Harara, secretary of the national assembly, delivered a special release about most important issues and reports to be discussed during the second round of the national assembly in Al-Makla. He said: “This round is very significant as it wil be held in Al-Makla, bride of Arab Sea and economic capital of the South Arab and its beating heart. This round will evaluate works initiated during 2018 and plans for 2019. It is also significant as it will deal with final touches of the desired southern state through an accurate vision of this state. through this vision we can go on as we agree on future conditions and guarantees for a state free of exclusion, marginalization and oppression. In addition, internal rules and regulations of the southern national assembly will be amended as the past year clearly identified weaknesses and strengths. Being held in Al-Makla, the round sends a message that Hadhramaut is the other wing without which the south can never fly to the future. This round is held under serious security conditions in Hadhramaut Valley because of Yemeni occupation troops that control oil and gas fields. It is also significant as enemy media is launching a fierce campaign saying that Hadhramaut is out of the southern line. Therefore, holding this round in Al-Makla clearly responds to such allegations.
