The President of the Southern Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, assigned on Saturday, two southern contracting companies to suck rainwater from the capital Aden.
The Vice-President of the Transitional Council, Hani Ali Ben Brik, confirmed that directives issued by President Al-Zubaidi to quickly assign two southern contracting companies to extract rainwater and sediments that affected the general districts of Aden the capital.
Ben Brik said that the work will start first in the districts most affected and with widespread of stagnant water.
The vice president also indicated that the mist-spraying process will follow to eliminate mosquitoes that carry diseases.
The rains that fell on the capital, Aden, during the past two weeks, left a lot of damage and swamps of stagnant rain water throughout the districts, with the silence, neglecting, and ignoring of the local authorities and the related institutions in the government of President Hadi.
