Cautious calm atmosphere of war dominated the focal fighting points located in the areas of clashes and ongoing confrontations between units of the southern forces and the Houthi militants north and west of Dhalea, and that since the dawn hours of Thursday, February 6.
According to the commander of the 1st Battalion of 7th Thunderbolt Brigade, Colonel “Waddah Al-Azraqi”: “The cautious calm prevailed in the atmosphere in Al-Job front, southwest of the district of Qataba.”
Colonel Al-Azraqi explained: that the military confrontations between the southern forces and the Houthi militants on Thursday are limited to intermittent clashes with machine and medium weapons.
The military situation that prevailed in Al-Job front had clouded on the fronts of: Morais, Bab Ghalaq, Kharaza, Habil Al-Abdi, Battar, Al-Fakher, Al-Azarq, which are the fighting axes that are considered the fiercest in Al Dhalea.
The joint southern forces continue their operations towards the militia targets in Al-‘Oud, al-Hasha, Nasa, the outskirts of al-Fakher and Maoya in Taiz, in an ongoing effort to achieve more field victories while the Houthi militias push large and continuous reinforcements to areas of armed conflict.
