The National Assembly of the Southern Transitional Council concluded on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, the third session of the National Assembly, which was held during the period (13-15) January 2020, under the title “Towards the Creative Implementation of the Riyadh Agreement”.
The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, witnessed the closing session of the third session of the National Assembly, praising its success achieved and the decisions that came out of the final statement of the session.
Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, has presided over the sessions of the third session of the National Assembly since its inauguration on January 13, which coincides with the 14th anniversary of Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance.
The closing day of the third session of the National Assembly discussed several topics related to the Riyadh Agreement and of interest to the southern people, and among those topics emerged the need to empower southern women and restore their prominent role in which they were distinguished, in addition to caring and rehabilitating young people, and in return also benefiting from experienced cadres, as well as supporting institutions Military and its affiliates, enhance services and raise their level of efficiency.
At the end of the session, the National Assembly issued a final statement that included a number of decisions and recommendations related to the south in general and the Riyadh agreement terms in particular.
