The meeting discussed the services conditions within the framework of the existing districts, with the constraints and problems and immediate remedies that would be taken to get the capital Aden out of its current state.
The meeting was attended by Major General Salem Al-Socotri, Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Vice-Chairman of the Self-Administration Committee, Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, Member of the Transitional Council Presidency, Head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Aden the capital, in which Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik stressed on the role of the administrative bodies within the framework of the governorate and the districts and their primary responsibility for the issues affecting the services and needs of citizens.
Major General Bin Brik pointed to the failure of the government to perform its duties in Aden the capital, and the rest of the governorates, which worsened the problems that the services sector is experiencing, pointing out that the health situation in Aden requires great efforts.
For their parts, the directors of the districts expressed their happiness for the meeting, in which they welcomed the self-administration decision, expressing their aspiration to be a way to the recovery of the capital Aden from its situation. They reviewed the most important problems and obstacles facing them and the necessary needs of urgent requirements that would be needed to take the capital Aden out of the consequences of the recent floods, and to reduce the risks of the widespread diseases, and lead to a healthy climate and environment that preserves and secures the lives of the citizens in Aden.
