Preacher of al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Ismail Nawahda, warned of the Israeli plans aimed at Judaizing the cities of Occupied Jerusalem and al-Khalil. He condemned Israeli offensive practices against Palestinians through collective punishment policy.
Nawahda said in his Friday Khutbah (sermon) that Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) have been working on changing the status quo in both cities within the Israeli Judaization approach.
Nawahda condemned the closure of Bab al-Rahma which has been shut since 2004 and lashed out at the IOA for seeking to prosecute the Islamic Waqf at the Israeli courts.
The preacher of al-Aqsa also condemned the dreadful massacres being practiced against Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar. He called what is happening in Burma a systematic ethnic cleansing, criminality and terrorism, which runs contrary to human rights and international humanitarian law.(PIC)
