Drug… Lost Countries and Lost Generations

Riyad Al-Falahi Al-Esayi

Southern Writer
Reports from our beloved country clearly indicate that most southern governorates, directorates and even their country-side are plagued with drugs and narcotics. Actually, the political situation and security conditions helped drug dealers to distribute and sell these killing poisons.
The state is completely absent with a president who is out-of-reach all the time, a government that exists only on official documents and papers while on the ground there no real existence, even to the minimum limit. The whole country is too loose. This enables those evil persons to device their schemes for destroying a great nation that taught enemies many lessons about loving the national soil. Current conditions make the whole country a fruitful place for this destructive trade to flourish.
We should acknowledge that fighting this plague is a group responsibility. Parents are responsible for protecting their children. Individual citizens are responsible for protecting the society and the state and government are responsible for fighting this destructive trade. Unfortunately, we don’t see any serious efforts from the president and his government in this respect.
Our country is destroyed and future generations are to be lost for this deep hole. Youth are out of control, sinking in crime, deviation and vise. This is our enemies’ alternative plan to invade us in a way that may, God forbids, force us to surrender.
Therefore, we demand urgent interference of the Arab Coalition, UN, friend countries and International organizations to assume their humanitarian role in protecting out people and our future generations from the risks of drugs and narcotics.
