SMA News – Riyadh – Exclusive
Media sources at the Saudi capital, Riyadh, indicated that Saudi authorities are to summon Ahmed Saleh Al-Essa, Naif Saleh Al-Bakri, Ensaf Maio, Abd Al-Rab Al-Salami and Mohamed Bel-Fakhar, to question them about their attitudes towards the domination of Al-Eslah Party on Southern National Alliance in a try to bring it back to political life in the south through the coalition.
Responsible and major sources inside the Southern Alliance indicated that the Arab Coalition countries led by Saudi Arabia and UAE do not oppose forming the alliance as they have positive attitudes towards it as any other southern factions. But they only oppose the domination of Al-Eslah party or any of its arms like Al-Nahda or Al-Rashad, over the alliance. This is also the attitude of Egyptian authorities who disapproved the conference of the alliance early in March in Cairo and conditioned its approval with excluding Al-Eslah, Al-Nahda and Al-Rashad from the conference proceedings.
Other sources in the alliance indicated a severe conflict among the alliance components as some figures suggest the Federal State option as part of the alliance agenda with the right of Self-Determination to the south while leaders loyal to Al-Eslah, Al-Nahda and Al-Rashad disapprove that option.
