Al-Houthis Bombard the Headquarters of Al-Hodeida Redeployment Committee with Rockets

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Al-Hodeida – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]Al[/su_dropcap] Houthi militias resumed targeting the headquarters of the Yemeni government team participating in the UN redeployment committee in Al-Hodeida as Al-Houthis bombarded it with rockets. This comes only one week after the the committee’s meeting, headed by General Michael Lawlessard, that approved main provisions for saving Sweden Agreement. 

            Military media of Joint Yemeni Forces asserted that Iran-Packed Al-Houthi militias targeted the headquarters of the government team five Katjusha rockets on Tuesday July 23rd, 2019.

            This is a serious escalation by the militias that exceeds gun fire to launching military operations inside Al-Hodeida, Hies and Al-Tuhita. This puts the fifth joint meeting of the redeployment committee at stake, according to military media.

            The fifth joint meeting of the redeployment committee established a mechanism to maintain cease fire and correct the first stage’s path that witnessed several violations by Al-Houthis.
