Al-Attas Greets the Southern People and Calls for National Lineup

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]H[/su_dropcap]aidar Abu Bakr Al-Attas, former prime minister of Yemen, issued a statement on Thursday September 5th, 2019 addressing southern citizens in Al-Makla and Aden who participated in the million marshes of loyalty for the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and UAE. Al-Attas said:
With all respect, we greet the crowds of our southern people who believe in their fair cause and loyal to their brothers in the Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and UAE who support the people in the south and north against the Iran-backed Al-Houthi coup according to Arabic values. Our southern people and brave southern resistance, thanks to God and the Arab Coalition, managed to defeat Al-Houthi/Affash invasion of our sacred land. They are still in the battel trenches in Sa’da and the west coast in support of our brothers in the north who should exert all efforts to expel Al-Houthi coup from their lands.
I express my deep sorrow for the attitude of some northern powers who followed Al-Eslah party in attacking the south that our people were determined to liberate it from terrorism that jeopardized its safety, security and stability. In addition, they tried to stab the southern resistance from behind while they are fighting Al-Houthis in the north to expel it just as they did in the south. This is not how to express loyalty to southern martyrs’ bloods shed on northern lands.
I address all peace-loving powers in the north to stop Al-Eslah and its military troops from continuing violations in the south and to maintain the line of good relations between the two peoples.
At the same time, I demand all social and political powers of the south to work seriously on fostering national unity and lineup behind their cause for which they struggle since July 7th, 1994. I call for the southern people and all patriotic powers to maintain good relations and cooperation with the north to unify the struggle of the two peoples for security, stability and developments, in addition to fostering their relations with Gulf Cooperation Council’s States led by Saudi Arabia.
Greeting to our crowds in the million marsh of loyalty who came from all over the south to Aden and Al-Makla.
Glory to martyrs, quick healing for the injured and victory for the people.
