Al-Faisal Operation in Wady Al-Musainy Starts with Emirati Support for Clearing Hadhramaut off Al-Qaeda

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Hadhramaut – Follow-ups[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] The Arab Coalition, under commandership of Saudi Arabia, launched Al-Faisal operation, with major Emirati support to clear Wady Al-Musainy of Hadhramaut off Al-Qaeda terrorists. Official media agency of UAE, UAM, indicated that the operation started on Saturday on three major axes with heavy air support. The coalition troops managed to break into Wady Al-Musainy, a major stronghold of Al-Qaeda in Hadhramaut, and to control its exits leading to the southern coast. It is noteworthy to indicated that UAE launched major operations in Hadhramaut against Al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups during April 2016. These operations had direct effects on decreasing terrorist attacks in several governorates and restoring major facilities in Hasdhramaut including Al-Makla sea port.
