Al-Jaadi praises the role of southern woman and her efforts in supporting peace

The Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadhl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, praised the role of southern women in delivering the message of the people of the south to the world and supporting peace efforts.

This came in his speech during the announcement celebration of the Women’s Reconciliation and Peace Committee, which was held today, Tuesday, in the capital Aden, in the presence of a number of women elites, southern feminist cadres, and women of civil society organizations.

Al-Jaadi stressed that the women’s sector played an important role in the various stages of the southern liberation revolution, and in transporting the voice of the southern issue to the regional and international societies.

Al-Jaadi also praised the idea of ​​establishing this committee, urging those responsible for it to work as a team away from the spirit of separation and regionalism in a collective institutional framework without selection, to enhance the role of southern women and complete the achievements they got in their struggle path.

At the end of his speech, Al-Jaadi wished for the Women’s Reconciliation and Peace Committee success in its work, as it would have a role in promoting the message of the Southern issue.

The Head of the Women’s Reconciliation and Peace Committee, Intisar Al-Hadali, said that the idea of ​​the Women’s Reconciliation and Peace initiative came to be a link to listen to the other opinion and to be a bridge for conveying the message of the southern issue not only at the local level, but also at the regional and international levels in coordination with the United Nations office.

The celebration of the committee witnessed free discussions, in which the women participating presented their visions and viewpoint regarding the mechanism of the committee that focuses on communicating with all southern entities on the path of peace, and uniting the southern women line under the banner of liberation, independence and the restoration of the southern state.
