Al-Kaf and Al-Baidh discuss with European Union ambassador to Yemen implications of military escalation on various fronts

Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Action Committee of the Transitional Council, and Amr Ali Al-Baidh, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, discussed on Thursday evening with the Ambassador of the European Union to Yemen Hans Grundberg and his deputy Ricardo Villa, the implications of the military escalation of the militias of Houthi and Muslim Brotherhood against the south on various fronts.

In the meeting, that witnessed the participation of Dr. Amira Augustin, Head of the General Department of Foreign Affairs Office of the Transitional Council in the German capital Berlin, all the participants agreed on the need to stop military actions on various fronts, and to give priority to alleviating the suffering of the citizens and ease the way for dialogue.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Transitional Council stressed on the importance of the donors conference, under the auspices of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to be held on the second of next June, and the need to find an effective mechanism to deliver humanitarian aid to the south.
