Al-Khobaji meets with Head of Saudi Coordination and Liaison Committee and Commander of Coalition forces in Aden

The member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, met on Thursday, with the Head of the Saudi Field Coordination and Liaison Committee to implement the Riyadh Agreement, Major General Mohammad bin Saad Al-Rubaie, and the commander of the 802 duty forces in Aden of the Arab Coalition, Brigadier General Nayef bin Munif Al-Otaibi, and Eng. Ahmed Madkhali, in charge of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, in the capital Aden.

During the meeting, many issues of concern to both sides were discussed, foremost of which is the payment of late salaries, as the Saudi side confirmed that it is making final arrangements to start delivering the salaries of the southern military and security forces, which is expected to be launched within ten days.

The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the implementation of the rest of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, both political and military, as the two sides stressed the importance of expediting the implementation of the rest of the Agreement’s provisions, given its role in laying the foundations of security and stability, and uniting efforts to confront the common dangers represented by the Houthi militia and terrorist and extremist organizations.

In the meeting, a brief explanation provided by Eng. Ahmed Madkhali was also presented, in which he touched on the most prominent development projects implemented by the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen in Aden the capital.

The meeting was attended by Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri; member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Deputy Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit and Official Spokesperson of the Council, and the members of the Council Presidency and Negotiations Affairs Unit Abdulrahman Sheikh, Adnan Al-Kaf, in addition to Anis Al-Sharafi; the member and reporter of the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Transitional Council.
