#Al-Wali chairs emergency meeting with directors of all districts and offices of health, public works, cleaning and water and Transitional Council’s Relief Committee in the capital #Aden

Prof. Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, Vice-President of the Relief and Humanitarian Affairs Committee of the Transitional Council, chaired on Saturday, an emergency meeting, for a number of directors of the general directorates and health and public works, cleaning and water and sanitation offices and heads of the Relief and Humanitarian Committee at the districts of the capital Aden.

The meeting discussed the measures related to facing the threat of Corona virus and the accomplished plan and program of work of the committee in charge of this matter.

Dr. Al-Wali reviewed a number of topics related to the military, security and health aspects, and the latest developments in the country in general and the capital Aden in particular.

Dr. Al-Wali indicated that the Transitional Council’s Relief and Humanitarian Affairs Committee directed a specialized mini-committee to study the procedures and measures to be taken to confront the Corona virus, and to prepare proposals and quick scenarios to confront the virus, avoid infection, and limit its spread if it reached our country.

The attendees approved a number of important recommendations and measures regarding combating the virus in coordination with the World Health Organization.

The meeting also discussed the file of unauthorized domination on lands and the random unauthorized construction throughout areas in the districts of the capital Aden, and the effects on Aden archaeological and historical features, including distortion and destruction, and theft of tourist places, parks, lands of residential and agricultural societies, and investment schemes in the free zone and the university campus, that have been subjected to unjust extension and occupation, without any move from the government that should move to stop them.

Dr. Al-Wali stated that the Transitional Council is ready to provide full security and military protection for the implementation of the removal works of unauthorized construction and to prevent random building in accordance with the legal and judicial procedures issued by the competent authorities.
