Al-Wali launches second phase of comprehensive cleaning campaign in the capital #Aden

The second phase of a comprehensive cleaning campaign in the capital Aden implemented by the Relief and Humanitarian Affairs Committee of the Southern Transitional Council, was launched on Saturday, in coordination with the Cleaning Fund for the city in Aden.

The second phase launching witnessed the participation of Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, head of the local leadership in the capital Aden, and his deputy Mr. Essam Abdo Ali, and heads of departments in the General Secretariat, and Jamal Al-Diani, director of Traffic in Aden the capital, and directors of all the targeted directorates, which are Mansoura, Sheikh Othman and Dar Saad, and Borika.

The campaign started in Mansoura district from the Governor corniche Street to the Caltex roundabout, through the Textile square and up to the Ninety Street, to Al-Karaa roundabout and other places, while the cleaning plan for the Sheikh Othman district included Abdul Qawi Road, Sheikh Al-Duwail, and Al-Silah and Omar Al-Mukhtar regions.

On the other side, the cleaning plan for Dar Asad district included the Ninety line, the Ship’s roundabout, the Aden-Taiz road, the Amusement park, and Al-Sarraj and Al-Karaa rounds.

In Borika, the campaign started from the city of Inma to Al-Corniche Street and the Main street.

The campaign also witnessed the participation of a large number of cleaners and volunteers, and was widely acclaimed by citizens and preceded by widespread interaction on social media, especially after the success of the campaign in its first stage.
