Al-Zubaidy: Our Doors are Open for All Southern Citizens and No Fear About the Future of the South from Now On

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Al-Makla[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] In his meeting with several feminist leaders in Hadhramaut, Aidarous Al-Zubaidy, president of the southern transitional council asserted that the southern cause is now in safe hands and the doors of the council are open to all citizens of the south. He added that the council came in time to represent the south and establish the firm political infrastructure of the state through establishing departments and branches of the council in Adan, Shabwa, Hadhramaut, Al-Mehra and Socotra in addition to Abian, Lahj and Al-Dalea soon. Al-Zubaidy asserted the significance of southern women in establishing and supporting local communities and called for women all over the south to work on creating a society free of corruption, ignorance and diseases starting from their homes and spreading to all sectors of the society.
General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, member of the council who attended the meeting, indicated that the south is passing through a critical stage of its history and women of Hadhramaut proved their courage along the path of liberation by supporting the southern movement and southern resistance. He also indicated that the Arab Ally is playing a vital role in achieving glorious victories over enemies of the south. Ben Brik resented the wicked efforts for rising conflicts and dividing Hadhramaut. He also resented the acts of the government against the south.
Neeran Sawky, head of human rights department of the council, indicated that the southern woman stood side by side with man all along the struggle to freedom. She added that representation of women in the council reflects the fact that women are a cornerstone in the southern path towards a state of dignity.
