Blackmail and Royalty… Regular Practices of Yemeni Occupation in Hadhramaut Valley
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Saioun – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]outhern activists shared photos of Yemeni occupation soldiers in Hadhramaut valley forcing a truck driver on Saioun to pay illegal royalty to let him pass. Activists indicated that soldiers in the photos belong to brigade 135, under commandership of Yahia Abu Awga, chief of staff of the first military zone loyal to general Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar who is involved in several cases of corruption and terrorism.
Ali Al-Kuthairi, member of the Southern Transitional Council’s presidency, commented on these photos saying: “This is a clear evidence that occupation troops in Hadhramaut valley are involved in blackmail and cover up for killers of our innocent sons”.
He added: “Only five thousand Yemeni Reals are more than enough to buy any of these soldiers and pass a cargo of weapons, military equipment or drugs to the north”.
He concluded saying: “I send a copy of this to the commandership of Arab Coalition in Hadhramaut with our greetings”.
