The Spokesperson for the Southern Armed Forces, Lieutenant-Colonel\ Mohamed Al-Naqeeb, on Tuesday, delivered a briefing about fighting developments on battles fronts north of Al-Dhalea, Tur Al-Baha, Karish, and Morais, as several fighting fronts, on the borders, witnessed clashes, especially on the northern and northwestern fronts.

On Tur Al-Baha Haifan border front, clashes erupted, at dawn of Tuesday, between the southern armed forces and the Iranian-backed Houthi militias.

In the clashes that took place in Al-Dabab, Al-Hamza and Al-Adhir sectors, in which heavy and medium weapons were used, our southern armed forces, represented by the Fourth Hazm Brigade, were able to target Houthi gatherings and reinforcements that were intending to carry out an attack on our armed forces stationed on the front.

On Karish front, north of Lahj governorate, discontinuous clashes erupted in the evening between the southern armed forces and the Houthi enemy militias along the front’s sectors, and the southern armed forces dealt with the enemy’s attacking sources and its movements with force and firmness.

As for the Morais front, north of Al-Dhalea governorate, the southern and joint armed forces units stationed in the Morais axis managed to thwart an infiltration attempt by the Houthi militias, followed by an offensive attempt towards the southern forces’ positions in Wenan, and Shaddad Fort, Al-Qaim, Al-Zayla and Al-Qarah, in which the infiltrating enemy elements were killed in direct confrontations, that pushed the Houthi enemy militias to launch hysterical bombardment with heavy and medium weapons in order to bring out their wounded in a battle that lasted about an hour, and the front is still witnessing intermittent confrontations coinciding with the outbreak of similar clashes in the Karish front
