Brotherhood’s authority in Shabwa imposes the law of one-fifth on merchants

SMA NEWS – ATAQ

The Brotherhood’s militia authority in Shabwa governorate imposed new taxes on shop owners, amounting to 700,000 riyals.

The levies included small shops, whether cafeterias, grocers, and cafés, with amounts exceeding the limits of the merchants’ capabilities.

The merchants’ owners accused the Brotherhood’s local authority of imposing taxes under various names, in violation of the laws, accusing the Brotherhood authority, led by the so-called Mohammad Saleh Adyo, of doubling the levies to repeat the scenario of the Houthi terrorist militia in the unliberated areas through the so-called one-fifth law.

The Brotherhood’s authority in the governorate has been imposing illegal taxes and levies, and smuggling oil allocations to the terrorist Houthis, on behalf of the Brotherhood’s militia leaders and implementing the terrorist organization’s agenda.
