Chairman of Relief and Humanitarian Work Committee of STC meets Director of National Drug Supply Program

The Acting Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), Chairman of the Relief and Humanitarian Work Committee of the Council, Eng. Adnan Muhammad Al-Kaf, met on Thursday, with Dr. Suad Misri, Director General of the National Program for Drug Supply.

The meeting, which was attended by Eng. Nizar Haitham, the member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, the Executive Head of the Transitional Council local leadership in Aden the capital, discussed the needs of hospitals, quarries and health centers for pharmaceutical and preventive supplies to confront the Corona pandemic.

Al-Kaf stressed during the meeting that the Southern Transitional Council will not give up its humanitarian role in assisting health facilities according to the capabilities available to it, and providing support to them.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of coordination and cooperation between all parties concerned with confronting the pandemic, public and private hospitals, and ways to enhance the participation of merchants and civil and international organizations in this aspect.

During the meeting, Dr. Suad Misri gave a brief explanation of the program’s activities, methods of distributing medicine supplies and health supplies, and the needs that the program requires to fulfill its obligations to provide hospital and health quarantine requirements in all southern governorates.
