Fierce battles between 4th Hazm Brigade and Houthis militias in Haifan front south of Taiz
Fierce battles raged in the front of Haifan Eirim, south of Taiz, between the 4th Hazm Brigade, the Southern Brigade led by Colonel Wafi al-Ghabis al-Subaihi, and the Iranian-backed Houthi militia.
The battles left a martyr of the southern forces, Munif Abdo Saleh, and other wounded, while the Houthis suffered heavy casualties, and four of their members were killed and dozens were wounded, according to a military source.
The military source added that the fierce battles took place in Al-Hagma and al-Adheer sector, in which both parties used all types of weapons, and continued from Thursday evening until Friday morning.
The military source indicated that the Houthis had failed to achieve any significant progress, as they had defeated and incurred heavy and unprecedented losses where the 1st Battalion of the 4th Hazm Brigade, led by Captain Mohammad Al-Jaafari, located in Al-Hagma and al-Adheer sector, and this military escalation comes after a calm in the front for more than two weeks.
