The leader in the Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, stressed that the situation in Socotra governorate is under control, noting that the exaggerations that are published are aimed at exploding the situation in the governorate and dragging it into a square of fighting.

Al-Awlaki said in a tweet he posted it on Twitter: There is no truth in that the militias are in control of southern forces’ camps in Socotra, security belt camp in Hadibu, the capital of the archipelago of Socotra, and another camp in Qalansiyah district.

There is a coastal defense battalion that has turned into the southern Transitional Council and its camp in Hadibu.

Al-Awlaki added: The situation is under control, and the published exaggerations aim to explode the situation in Socotra.
