Statement of Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden
In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful and Most Gracious
Local leadership of Aden followed the interview of president Aidarous Al-Zubaidi on Abu Dhabi TV. The main points concluded are:
• We are with our people in Aden and the south. We will never accept them to be humiliated or oppressed. Don’t test the people’s patience.
• We reach for president Hady as a southern, for Aden and the south, for establishing the principle of tolerance and forgiveness, and for rearranging the southern home from inside.
• To achieve victory, to defend the nation and its interest and to defeat the Sectarian project of Iran, we reach for president Hady. We, Hady and the coalition are partners in this battel.
• To reach a south for all his sons with all his sons, we reach for president Hady.
• Even if the world gave billions to the corrupt government, this will do no good and evidences are clear for all.
• Neither the coalition nor the council are responsible for poor conditions of the south. The government controls all organizations and should not attribute its failure to others.
• Loose actions of the government in fighting terrorism endangers Aden again.
• The Arab Coalition states and the whole world prejudices the southern right. We are intitled to defend our people’s right and restore our sovereign state. those who ignore the south, the south will ignore them. don’t test our patience.
• We control the lands and we can impose our will by force, but not when there is an enemy to fight. Our southern brothers in the legitimacy are part of us and we will reach an agreement with them. but as a start, we need a guarantee to build up confidence. Our brothers in the coalition should understand our people’s desire, right and interests, just as we understand theirs. We call them for a new initiative that restores the southern right and we will be part of it.
• We will support the northern resistance in fighting Al-Houthi / Iranian expansion. It is the choice of the northern people to join or not join such resistance.
• Ignoring the southern right of restoring our sovereign state from UN or any other party will fail. And if they insist on going on, we will change the situation on the ground and impose our will.
• In our opinion, the solution should be inside home under the framework of Arab Coalition states. We hope that Saudi Arabia, the gig sister of us, bears her responsibilities towards the southern people as brothers and neighbors. We still hope so.
• Those who doubt the desire of southern people in restoring their state should go to referendum. Those who try to force his solutions upon us will fail.
• We are delegated to represent the south politically to only restore the independent sovereign southern state. we will never accept anything less than that.
Therefore, Local Leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Aden supports all points mentioned in the president’s interview. We assert that we are under his command and we we are ready to go forth as we are fully determined to achieve the will of our southern people in restoring our independent sovereign southern state at the borders of May 21st, 1990.
May God accept our martyrs in his mercy, bless our injured with quick healing and free our captive from Al-Houthi prisons.
