Major General Bin Brik chairs meeting of military and security commanders


Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly chaired on Monday, a meeting of military and security commanders.

The meeting discussed a number of military topics related to the work of the committees and the achievement of their assigned tasks during the past period, in addition to the military developments on the fronts, praising the steadfastness of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces and the successes achieved by the giants (AL AMALIKA) and joint forces on the West Coast front during the past days.

The meeting warned of the dangers of the irresponsible behavior of the Brotherhood militias in Shabwa governorate, through which they seek to abort the Riyadh Agreement by dragging the situation into secondary battles away from the main battle against the Houthi militia and its Iranian project, in which the military commanders expressed their rejection of such behavior, that reflects what the Brotherhood militias have been doing of their interaction with the Houthi militias.

The military commanders also praised the successes achieved by the negotiating delegation in Riyadh, stressing their confidence in the ability of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and the negotiating delegation he headed to crown the military victories of the southern armed forces with political and diplomatic victories.

The meeting touched on the conditions of the Southern Armed Forces personnel, calling in the context of the power-sharing government to implement its obligations in paying salaries without delay.

The meeting also stood in front of the erroneous practices and behaviors of some military and security personnel, calling for the necessary and strict legal measures to be taken against those behaviors that harm the reputation and image of the armed forces in front of societal opinion.

The meeting came up with a number of decisions and practical measures to address the different topics and issues that were discussed.
