The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Saturday, under the chairmanship of Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Member of the Presidency, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit.
The meeting reviewed developments on the national arena, the Presidency confirmed that strengthening the steadfastness of the fronts requires the effective and serious implementation of the transfer of military forces from the southern governorates to the fronts, in accordance with the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement, a matter that the Southern Transitional Council has always emphasized in all its theses.
The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Governor of the Capital Aden, and the Ministers of the Council in the equity government, and the Director of Aden Security, stood before many issues, foremost among which are ways to support the governor and the government to play their role in establishing security and stability, providing services and addressing the crisis of interruption salaries, and addressing the collapse of the value of the local currency, and in this regard, the Presidency affirmed its support for all efforts aimed at easing the burden on citizens and providing for their needs.
The Presidency praised the efforts of the governor of Aden the capital, and his decisions in order to stop the ongoing tampering and rampage on the lands, and his tireless efforts to provide services, calling on the government to support the efforts of the governor in various fields, in a way that would contribute to the restoration of the pioneering role of Aden and its port as a focal station and global commercial marketing center.
The Presidency also praised the changes made by Aden Security Director in commanding police departments, hoping that the coming period will witness more institutional work at all levels.
The meeting saluted the legendary steadfastness of the southern armed forces units on various fronts in confronting the Houthi militia and terrorist and extremist groups.
