President Al-Zubaidi chairs the quarterly meeting of Transitional Council local leadership in Aden the capital

The President of the Southern Transitional Council, President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi presided on Saturday, the quarterly meeting of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden,
The meeting was held under the slogan “Towards a Creative Implementation of the Riyadh Agreement”, with the attendance of leaders and members of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the capital Aden and its districts, and members of the National Assembly and local leaderships of the Transitional Council in the governorates.
President Al-Zubaidi delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the Riyadh Agreement is a historical station that lead to the recognition of the Transitional Council as representative of the South and its issue to participate in international forums and bypassing the exclusion stage that the south suffered of during the past period, on the path to achieving the goal of liberation, independence and the restoration of the state.
President Al-Zubaidi added: “The Riyadh agreement has included political and military files in the footsteps of restoring our state. We are the owners of the land and we will participate in all events related to the south, and we will not be a part to traders who are using the name of the south for their self-interests and they are far from the south, and that the coming state will be for everyone.”
President Al-Zubaidi stressed, “What happened in Shabwa was planned, but the Shabwani elite will return to the people of Shabwa and get back their rights and will play its role in combating terrorism and establishing security, alongside the southern resistance and southern security forces.”
President Al-Zubaidi continued: “We are right holders and we will not be less than our martyrs, and we will work for the people of the South, and we will go on any path seeking to reach the desired goal to restore our state, and today it is clear to everyone who we are.”
President Al-Zubaidi stressed: “We must now restore our institutions, as the next stage requires political effort and work, even at the streets level”.
The President of the Transitional Council pointed out that “the security situation is the major challenge facing everyone, and the Transitional Council pledged to be an effective partner with the Arab Coalition and the international community in combating terrorism to achieve security and stability.”
President Al-Zubaidi concluded his speech by reiterating that “the Riyadh agreement is a political gain, and we are holding on the ground and on the fighting fronts, and we must preserve the achievements that have been reached.”
Dr. Abdul-Nasser Al-Wali, head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital Aden, member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, started the meeting by welcoming President Al-Zubaidi, and the participants, noting that this meeting is an opportunity to discuss the most important issues related to the Riyadh Agreement.
In the meeting, the participants submitted their questions regarding the Riyadh Agreement, and presented their views on issues related to the local leadership of the Transitional Council in the capital Aden and its link to the Riyadh Agreement, in which President Al-Zubaidi answered all the questions and inquiries, and provided the required clarifications regarding the Riyadh Agreement.
