Public Campaign Against Drugs Starts from Al-Farooq Secondary School in Gear – Khanfar

[su_dropcap]S[/su_dropcap]AMA Organization for Development and Guidance launched an awareness rising campaign against risks of drugs in Al-Farooq Secondary School in Gear – Khanfar on Monday February 4th, 2019. The campaign aims to foster voluntary work of students against drugs in Abian from January to August 2019.
Faisal Al-Saidi, head of SAMA Organization branch in Abian, Aidarous Hady, head of organizational department of SAMA Organization, Mohamed Saleh Al-Shamali, principal of Al-Farooq Secondary school, Abd Al-Rakeeb Al-Sunidi, head of media department of SAMA Organization in Abian, and Husam Al-Haidari, director of activities in Khanfar educational department attended the launch.
Aidarous Hady, head of organizational department of SAMA Organization, delivered a lecture about risks of drugs indicating that all types of drugs, including domestic types are very serious as they all lead to addiction. He also indicated that Islam banned drugs due to its negative effects on humans and societies. He also asserted the important role of teachers and parents to rise awareness against drugs.
Mohamed Saleh Al-Shamali, principal of Al-Farooq Secondary school, appreciated the great role of SAMA Organization in this campaign asserting that drugs should be avoided as it demolishes societies.
Faisal Al-Saidi, head of SAMA Organization branch in Abian, numerated the types of drugs indicating that drugs turn addicts into hostile and isolated persons. He also thanked the security belt troops for confiscating massive amounts of drugs that reached 6 tons. He said: SAMA Organization is trying to use mosques and schools to fight drugs while countries that are unable to destroy us by weapons target us with drugs to kill our people.
