Representative of Transitional Council Foreign Affairs meets with Acting British Ambassador to Yemen
The representative of the General Department of Foreign Affairs at the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Adel Al-Shabahi, met on Tuesday, Mr. Simon Smart, Acting British Ambassador to Yemen.
In the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the political situation in the south, as well as the efforts made by the Transitional Council to implement the Riyadh Agreement, in which Al-Shabhi stressed on the importance of the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ensure implementing the agreement.
Al-Shabhi reiterated that the leadership of the Transitional Council is keen to implement the Riyadh Agreement and not to allow any parties that try to put obstacles to thwart its implementation.
For his part, the British official affirmed his country’s support for all efforts exerted to help bringing peace, extending his thanks to Al-Shabhi for his continuous cooperation and communication.
