SAMA News condemns the arrest of its reporter in Abian by Special Forces

[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] SAMA News issued a statement condemning the arrest of its reporter in Abian, Abdulrakeeb Al-Senidy, by special forces under command of Mohamed Al-Awban Al-Marmy as the arrested reporter was covering a protest event against a falsified event held by Governor of Abian Abu Bakr Hussain who mobilized school students, employees of local authority and tens of soldiers to falsify the will of the south and make Abian seems as if it is outside the southern line. These acts remind us with the black days of central security and suppressive systems loyal to the ousted president Ali Abdullah Saleh. Special forces under command of Mohamed Al-Waban Al-Marmy, launched arrest campaign against leaders and activists of the Southern Movement after a festival held by local authorities in Abian ‎attended by prime minister Ahmed Ben Doghr. Arrests included Abdullah Awad Al-Harby, Doen Mansour Doen, Ihab Hidara Mohamed, Ali Ben Ali Sufian, Mohamed Awad Al-Warey, Said Mohamed‎ Amoura and Abdulrakeeb Al-Senidy. The arrested journalist Abdulrakeeb Al-Senidy indicated that ‎the special forces arrested him and other activists while organizing a protest marsh against the festival of September 26th celebration held in Abian.
