The head of the Southern Teachers and Educators Syndicate, the official spokesman for the General Union of Southern Workers Syndicates, “Hussein Al-Jadani,” affirmed the continuation of the strike in schools until all the rights and demands are met

Al-Jadani said: We are in the Southern Teachers and Educators Syndicate announce to all male and female teachers that you should continue the strike, and we are not an easy summit to be manipulated on us.

He added: For our case after meeting the prime minister and agreed on resolving our situation, what happened is that the human resources official rejects the Prime Minister’s direct instructions to him and wants instructions from the Minister of Education, as well as the finance official rejects the instructions of the Prime Minister addressed to him and he wants official instructions.

Al-Jadani added: They wanted us to wait until there become a confusion and rumors abounded the strike to be broken, but we tell them your projects did not pass and we will not open the strike with you this week, or we will move from the stage of the strike to job disobedience and escalation.

He went on saying: We demand that the Prime Minister hold accountable those who obstruct the agreement and we will not accept procrastination, or that we will hold him fully responsible.

He affirmed by saying: We will not raise the strike unless we seek our rights on the ground and all schools should continue the strike, because history has no mercy, and this is the last opportunity.
