The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting headed by Al-Jaadi

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Sunday, its periodic meeting, headed by Mr. Fadl Al-Jaadi, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.

The meeting reviewed the monthly analytical report of the Decision Making Support Center, which included a set of recommendations related to dealing with the current situation and its developments, especially the continuous vigilance and raising the combat readiness on all fronts, and the need for continuous work with the coalition countries to accelerate the Riyadh Agreement and form the government, as well as continuing communication with the southern components, and southerners in the Yemeni government to bring closer the points of view.

In reviewing the developments, the members praised the fruitful results of the efforts made by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council and the Southern negotiating delegation, and the meetings he holds with the ambassadors of the five countries and the European Union to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, to stop the war and bring peace.

In another context, the meeting discussed the issue of the continuous displacement to the south and the capital Aden in particular, and in this regard, the meeting stressed on the importance of working by all means with various local authorities and international organizations to stop internal displacement and the influx of African refugees and communicate with the concerned authorities to contain them in their own camps outside the capital Aden.

The meeting also touched on the health aspect in light of expectations of a new wave of the emerging corona virus, as it was stressed that the precautionary measures in schools and universities should be taken seriously, and the readiness of health facilities increased.

On the military issue, the meeting called for the necessity of finding urgent solutions to the demands of the southern military and speeding up their implementation to ensure that this vast and important segment of the population obtains their rights, which the government is delaying.

In public affairs, the meeting stressed on the need to respond quickly to the demands of educators according to the available resources, as well as to stop the obstacles that the government puts before the governor of the capital Aden to carry out his duties, and to fund and support the government for the efforts to stop the random construction and illegal expansion in the capital Aden, and to reorganize and improve the performance of the security services and their integration with the work of prosecution and judiciary to maintain security, stability and public tranquility for the people of the capital.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Presidency stood before the final results report of the workshop on the new tasks before the Transitional Council in light of the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.
