With Participation of Al-Gaadi, Legal Department of the Southern Transitional Council Organizes the Closing Ceremony of “No Violence Against Women” Campaign.
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]L[/su_dropcap]egal Department of the Southern Transitional Council, with participation of Fadl Al-Gaadi, acting secretary general of the council, held the closing ceremony of a 16-day campaign titled ” No Violence Against Women”, under the UN notion “Unite Against Violence against Women and Girls”.
Al-Gaadi indicated that the campaign is part of the council’s principles that denounce all types of violence in general, and especially against women, as women have the right to be respected and honored.
Heba Ali Zain, head of the legal department of the general secretariat, indicated that the campaign started on November 25th with distributing presents and orange slogans certified by UN to represent a brighter future all over the world and denounce violence against women and girls.
Attendants, including heads of the general secretariat departments and other visitors, printed their hand prints in orange on a white board with the notion “No Violence Against Women” on it.
