“We affirm that the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement with its political aspect comes as a priority for the leadership of the Council,” the Transitional Council spokesman Nazar Haitham said to Erm News.
Haitham reaffirmed the Transitional Council’s commitment to the ceasefire, which the Arab coalition forces have called for, he said: “We renew our commitment to the ceasefire, even though we are in a state of self-defense, and we did not start and do not want war.”
He added: “We are open to all southerners, and to all the moderate forces in the north, in the interest of the people in the south. .
In response to a question about President Hadi’s use of the term (my sons) while directing the speech to the Transitional Council, Nazar Haitham said: “We must focus on the post-discourse, and strive to implement the Riyadh agreement, in order to achieve the goals of the Decisive Storm, and thwart the plans of the Houthi and Brotherhood terrorist militias.”
On Saturday, Hadi called on those he called his “sons” in the Southern Transitional Council to return to the path of implementing the Riyadh agreement.
The Yemeni news agency Saba reported that President Hadi “invited his sons in the Transitional Council to take advantage of sincere and great efforts for our brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to return to the path of implementing the Riyadh Agreement and called on them to stop the bloodshed and miss the opportunity on the stalkers of the Yemeni people.” , and to stop the escalation and attacks, and make sincere and serious return to the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement. ”
