Jordanian Olympic team beat Yemen in the West Asian Championship

The Jordanian national team achieved an important victory over its Yemeni counterpart (2-1), on Friday, in the first group of the West Asian Under-23 Championship, which was held in Saudi Arabia.

Jordan’s goals were scored by Abdullah Awad in the 35th minute from a penalty kick, and Mohammad Abdel Muttalib in the 88th minute, while Omar Al-Dahi scored for Yemen in the minute 40.

Jordan topped Group A with 6 points, compared to 4 for Yemen
