Real Madrid pass Atalanta to Champions League quarter-finals

Real Madrid qualified to the quarter-finals of the Champions League, after beating Atalanta, 3-1, in the match that brought them together at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium, in the second leg of the Round 16 of the competition.

Real Madrid’s goals were scored by Karim Benzema (34), Sergio Ramos from penalty spot (60), and Marco Asensio (85), while Luis Muriel scored Atalanta’s only goal (83).

Real Madrid had won the first leg in Italy with a score (1-0), to qualify for the next round by winning (4-1) on aggregate.
